GC Builders is a construction company based in Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska. The world is very loud. There are so many distractions. For me, the stresses of running a residential construction business often felt overwhelming. A home is supposed to be your sanctuary where you can relax with your family and hit the reset button after a long day. Being crammed in a 900 SF rental with rowdy kids, surrounded by neighbors did not provide the solitude I knew I needed to be the best husband and father I could be.  Moving my family out on an acreage was the best decision I have ever made. The sunrises, the sunsets, the stars, the peace, and the joy of listening and admiring God's Creations around me, are all reasons I decided to build my Barndominium. The first morning on my acreage, as the sun was rising, the birds were chirping, the breeze was whispering in harmony with everything around, I remember thinking to myself, "Now this is God's Country". And to this day I thank Him every day for it. After I built our home, I could now continue to run my business and safely store my equipment in my shop, The best part: Mere footsteps away through a door I can relax with my family in my home. This was just the beginning. The opportunities are vast on an acreage. The space I now had to grow my own food, raise my own livestock, erect buildings for kids and family time, was quite remarkable and I am forever grateful. This business was built upon being able to share that joy and that passion with others through my services. Home on a homestead has provided me a sense of freedom and gratitude to God I never knew was possible. I simply want that same feeling for others.
